Terms of Use
Last updated 2026-09-16
The short version
- GameOn is free to use. Spectating needs no account; hosting and scoring do.
- What you publish — tournaments, results, comments — is public and stays yours. You give us permission to display it.
- If you enter other people's names into a draw, make sure they are fine with their results being public.
- Be decent in comments. Don't break the service or other people's accounts.
- We provide the service as-is and can change or stop it; we're not liable for a match that went unscored.

1. The agreement
These terms are a contract between you and Sojan K Reji (“we”, “us”), the operator of GameOn at gameon.aabib.org. By using the site — as an organiser, a scorer, a player or a spectator — you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use GameOn. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and forms part of these terms.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- One account per person. Don't create accounts for other people, and don't impersonate anyone.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Keep your password private, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.
- An email address is optional, but without a verified one you cannot reset your own password — you will have to ask us.
- Usernames are public and form your profile address. Don't pick one that is offensive, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may change or reclaim a username that does.
3. The service
GameOn lets you set up tournaments, generate fixtures, score matches rally by rally, publish live results and drive broadcast overlays. It is provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features, and may suspend or discontinue the service — with reasonable notice where practical, but we make no promise that it will always be available or that your tournament data will be preserved forever. Export anything you cannot afford to lose.
4. Your content
“Your content” means everything you put into GameOn: tournaments, participant names, scores, rally logs, comments, stream URLs, your display name and anything else.
- You own it. We claim no ownership of your content.
- You license it to us. So that the service can work, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, display and distribute your content on GameOn — including on public pages, in stream overlays, in link previews and to search engines and other crawlers.
- It is public by default. Everything except draft tournaments, your email and your password is visible to anyone. Do not post anything you need kept private.
- You are responsible for it. You confirm that you have the right to publish your content and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
We may remove content that breaks these terms, and we may keep tournament and match records after an account is closed, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Organisers and collaborators
If you host a tournament, in addition to the above:
- You may enter the names of players who have no GameOn account. By doing so you confirm you have their permission (or, for anyone under 16, a parent's or guardian's) to publish their name and results. If a player objects, remove or rename them — or ask us to.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the draw and the scores recorded under your tournament, including by collaborators you invite.
- Collaborators with “can edit” access can do anything you can inside the tournament except manage the collaborator list. Choose them carefully; we cannot undo their actions for you.
- Results, once published, become part of players' public histories. Correct mistakes promptly.
6. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Post comments or content that are abusive, threatening, discriminatory, sexually explicit, defamatory or unlawful, or that harass another player.
- Enter false results, or tamper with a tournament you have no right to manage.
- Try to access other accounts, probe or overload the service, bypass rate limits, or interfere with the live-update connection.
- Scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others. Ordinary crawling and reading of public pages is fine.
- Use GameOn to spam, to run gambling operations, or to collect other users' personal data.
If you find a security vulnerability, tell us at sojan4774@gmail.com rather than exploiting it. Good-faith research reported this way will not be treated as a breach of these terms.
7. Streams and embeds
Organisers can attach a YouTube or Twitch stream to an arena, and can use GameOn's overlay pages as a browser source in OBS or similar software. The streams themselves are hosted by YouTube or Twitch under their own terms; you are responsible for having the right to broadcast the event and for complying with those platforms' rules. The overlay pages may be used freely in your own broadcasts of tournaments run on GameOn.
8. Our content
The GameOn name, logo, design and software are ours. You may link to any public page and quote results, and you may embed overlays and share links freely. You may not copy, resell or rebrand the service itself, or remove our branding from it.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using GameOn at any time and ask us to delete your account. Deletion anonymises the account — personal details go, the match record stays, and any tournament you were still hosting is marked completed — as set out in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close an account, or remove content, if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, if required by law, or if we discontinue the service. Where practical we will tell you why. Sections 4, 8, 10 and 11 survive termination.
10. Disclaimer and liability
GameOn is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. A dropped connection, a mis-scored rally or a lost fixture is a real possibility at any event; keep a paper backup for anything that matters.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use GameOn. Because the service is free, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to INR 1,000 or the equivalent in your currency. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms — in particular, claims from people whose names you published without permission.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that, if you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings at home, that right is unaffected. Before going to court, please contact us; most problems can be sorted out by email.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For material changes we will show a notice on the site. Using GameOn after a change means you accept the new terms; if you don't, stop using the service and ask us to delete your account.
